New Release Alert: "Renner - Both Sides"

Updated: Oct 8, 2023

Minnesota born, but Texas based Matt "Renner" has released his 3rd single in a song titled "Both Sides". The song hones in on a notion that not everyone is the same all of the time, people change. "One side of me is making the best of what we got, while the other side is scared to death, thinking what we're not" focuses on someone struggling with the fact that they have a great relationship but they seem to always want more.

The song was originally scheduled to be released on April 16th, but was moved up and released ahead of schedule.

"Both Sides" was written by Matt Renner, performances included:

Guitars - Chris Condon

Bass - Jacob Lowery

Drums - Miles McPherson

Producer - Jeffery Armstreet

Vocal Producer - Lyndon Hughes

Mix Engineer - Jeffery Armstreet

Master - Dave McNair

Studies: LFT Studios, Nashville TN, Red Tree Studies, Magnolia TX

"Both Sides" is the 3rd studio single released by Renner and his first official dive into a more Country / Southern Rock sound.

"I grew up listening to everything, seriously, everything, my parents loved everyone from Whitney Houston, Aerosmith and Michael Jackson, to Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Elton Jon, Garth Brooks and Bonnie Raitt, to Randy Travis, Queen and Lynyrd Skynyrd. So I don't really feel I have any one particular music that I don't relate to. When I write, I write what I feel and connect to and whatever it is, it is".

Renner is set to release at least 3 more singles and an EP later this summer, with a full album at the end of the year. Renner recently shot 3 videos that will come out at the same time as his EP this summer. You can listen to Renner on all music streaming services, catch him at a few select shows in Texas and Minnesota this summer, and support his music and charitable foundation "The Renner Family Foundation" by purchasing his music or merchandise as 5% of all sales go directly to supporting charitable causes.
